SubHunt

Story

You country is threated by enermy submarines. This can not be tolerated! Your mission is to destroy (and survive) all submarine attack waves.

Gameplay

You controll the surface ship with the left and right arrow keys. Mines are dropped with z and x. Pressing z fires a mine to the left of your ship, x fires a mine to the right. To make the game more challenging, you only have a limited stock of ammo. Ammo is regenerated but at a slow rate. You should therefore try to aim and not fire mines at random.

For every sub that is destroyd, you're awarded a score. The amount depends on what kind of sub you destroyed. At the time being there are 4 different types of submarines, ranging from Mr. Braindead to submarines that fire mines at the position the player is expected to be when the mine surfaces. Meeting several of these can be quite a challenge.

Some submarines carry valuable cargo. The cargo is released when those subs are destroyed and slowly ascends to the surface. You're awarded a bonus when you pick up the cargo. These bonuses range from suicide (hardly considered a bonus...) to unlimited ammo for a short period of time.

Currently there are 5 levels. The difficulty increases with each level and peeks at level 5.
